Currently I am championing the following causes:
Students at Jefferson County Open School in Lakewood, Colorado, have for the past fifteen years contributed in large and small ways to the publications that you may wish to purchase in the Books section, and they continue to work with my new research on the Navajo Reservation and within Navajo National Monument. Students need help in funding to continue up to five weeks of research documenting historic inscriptions and their links to early expeditions. Read more about them and/or make donations direct to Jacob Sliemers, or at the school here.
We are attempting to unravel the complex historic cultural movements and archaeological discovery of a very isolated and environmentally hostile area, in a multiple partnership with Jefferson County Open School, The Navajo Tribe, and National Park Service. We at times need help and encourage donations/volunteers to enable us to continue our efforts.

Ongoing documentation of the Wetherill Family Archives which began at the Anasazi Heritage Center in Dolores, Colorado, in 1996. Since initiation by the family approximately 15,000 documents and artifacts of historical significance in 15 accessioned collections have been donated by family members and other individuals interested in preserving information about the early years of archaeology in the Four Corners. Donations in the form of a check made out to the Department of Interior and earmarking "Wetherill Archives" can be sent to the Anasazi Heritage Center. This helps us to continue making available to the public individual documents and photographs of the legacy of the Wetherill archives. Read more about the Wetherill Family here.
Contact me for specific times and needs. Some housing for volunteers helping the Anasazi Heritage Center may be available on request. These projects require specific individual talents and a time commitment of at least 7 days.

I am documenting and researching the inscription history of Navajo National Monument in Northern Arizona. Funding for that effort is nearly non-existent. Your donation helps speed our effort of making sense of a complex cultural history of historic and prehistoric sites. Contact me by email for more information.

Keep checking this area. We always have surprises; other opportunities may present themselves.
Get a beautiful and now rare poster (out of print) as my way of saying Thank You, when you make a donation.
